• Endless: a fine wire end slips through the piercing and tucks into the tube, so the hoop reads as one continuous circle. Light and low-profile — the classic sleeper.
• Hinged: a hinged section swings open and snaps shut into the hoop. Secure, easy to put on, and the closure used on our tube hoops and huggies.
• Click-Top: a hinged top that clicks firmly into place.
• Latch-Back: a post that passes through the ear and latches into a catch at the back.

Round tube hoops have a smooth, rounded profile with a high-polish finish. Square tube hoops have crisp flat sides that catch the light along the edges. Sleeper and huggie styles are made to sit close and comfortably, and they're fine for everyday wear. To keep the finish and closures at their best we recommend taking them off for swimming, showering, exercise, and sleep, and putting on lotions, perfume, and hairspray before your earrings.

For most people, yes. Solid karat gold is far gentler than plated or base-metal earrings. One honest note: 10K gold is an alloy, so it contains other metals; if you have a known nickel allergy or very reactive ears, contact us before you buy and we'll talk through options.

Genuine karat gold doesn't corrode or turn skin green. White gold gets its bright finish from rhodium plating, which gradually wears over 1–3 years and can be refreshed professionally. Rose gold can deepen slightly in tone with wear. Any fine gold softens from mirror-bright to a gentle glow with micro-scratches — a professional clean and polish restores it.

Yes — unless a listing says otherwise, every price is for a complete pair of hoops. Listed metal weights are approximate, because each piece is finished individually; your Certificate of Authenticity records your pair's details.

Our gold hoops are made to order. We typically have them ready to ship in about 4 business days, then they travel with tracked, insured shipping. We ship to Canada and the United States, and Hamilton-area customers can choose local pickup.

Unworn hoops in original condition, with all included components (jewelry box, Certificate of Authenticity, polishing cloth, care card), can be returned or exchanged within 30 days of delivery.
